Natural Bio Products Journal (NBPJ) is an electronic, online-only, fully open-access journal for the publication of evidence-based research, research data, electronic and video-based articles, and multimedia content in the field of natural bio products.

The journal publishes text-based articles, as well as selected articles that include video, raw data, and multimedia content. NBPJ is published semiannually, with two issues per year, in Shahrivar and Esfand. The journal publishes in Persian and English. An English abstract is mandatory, and videos must include bilingual subtitles.

The mission of Natural Bio Products Journal is to establish an electronic, video-oriented scientific platform for publishing original, evidence-based research in the field of natural bio products, and to enhance interaction among academia, industry, and the health system through the publication of text, video, and data.

The journal’s vision is to become a regional scientific reference in the field of natural bio products by 2031, with emphasis on the publication of scientific videos and multimedia content.

This part is dedicated to the fundamental study of natural resources, including plant, fungal, algal, microbial, and animal resources, as well as the chemistry, pharmacology, toxicology, and biological properties of natural bio-product raw materials.

  2- Processing Technology, Formulation, and Quality Control

This part addresses the engineering and technological aspects of converting natural bio-product raw materials into final products, including food, supplements, medicine, and health products. Modern methods of extraction, formulation, and quality control are central to this axis.

Axis II - Clinical Applications & Nutrition

This axis is dedicated to human, nutritional, and implementation studies of natural bio-products in society. All four product areas, including food, supplements, medicine, and health products, can be published in this axis if they meet the minimum required level of evidence.

Axis III - Policy, Law, Regulation, Management, and Health Economics

This axis examines regulatory systems, standardization, safety monitoring, risk management, and trade policies for natural bio-products in the four areas of food, supplements, medicine, and health products. Systematic health economics and the economics of the natural bio-products industry are included in this axis.
